Follow up…
Okay first of all I want to clarify that in my last post, I said that the Podcast The Rest of Everest won best Podcast, but in reality it was just nominated, so hopefully will take best Podcast. As an update to that post, I have gotten through about 20 episodes, and I am really interested in these climbers/filmmakers journey up Mt. Everest. They haven’t gotten very far as of episode 20…but it’s a long process, and they want to do it right without getting too sick. Interesting how it all lays out.
The scenery in this podcast is gorgeous…they started out in Kathmandu, and they were basically tourists starting their journey…Nepal is culturally and spiritually rich with people and places and things…and it’s a colorful country from what I can gather in this podcast. In a way I’m living vicariously through this expedition team…they are doing something I probably will never do…but hopefully I will at least get to see it, visit Nepal and see the Mountain for myself.
I took the opportunity to email the filmmaker, telling him how I feel about this fascinating podcast…and I look forward to watching more, and learning more and sharing more along the way.
