CS4

Here’s a look at Adobe Creative Suite CS4, some new changes that look pretty interesting, including a text to speech transcription recognition software…

The only program that I use on a regular basis is Photoshop, so I’m more interested in a CS4 upgrade to that, and I’ve never been a big fan of Adobe Premiere… or any of the video/audio sound editing software that Adobe comes out with…

Which is too bad cause their design sweet is great, and Flash (which they acquired from Macromedia) is a great and powerful program.

Anyone living in the Southeastern Wisconsin area, be advised…

As they stated, if you are watching the news, and you don’t notice any change… you are ready… if your signal goes out… then you should look into preparing for the DTV changeover…

Well, for those of you who are anxiously waiting the Digital Television Change over (like I am)… maybe you should move to Wilmington, North Carollina… where on Monday they became the first part of the country to officially change over to digital…

According to one article, Wilmington was picked because that area has already gotten all their broadcasting stations ready for the 2009 change over, and the FCC is going to be using Wilmington as a gineua pig to see if there may be any potential problems, that can be fixed or changed by February 2009…

So, get your digital convertor boxes… I saw a couple at Best Buy the other day… this transistion is history in the making…

Here’s the article I read, for more information…

I listened to a podcast, and in the podcast they brought up the topic of Mobile Media…

What Mobile Media is being defined as, is content that is specifically created for your Mobile device.

In the past I have heard of things like the television show Rescue Me, which is the Dennis Leary show where he is ia firefighter… apparently after the writers strike, instead of coming back and finishing their season, they produced a certain number of 5 minute episodes, and I believe they were in a continuing series so when watched back to back they would equal up to 1 episode… I didn’t get to see them cause I never watched that show, but it was an interesting content.

I certainly have blogged in the past about webisodes and web series that are creating content just for the web, certainly things like this are in
